Eid Al Fitr

In Islamic teachings, this Eid (festival) is a reward/blessing from Allah (God) for people who fasted during the holy month of Ramadan. In Syria and other Arab countries people celebrate the Islamic festival called Eid Al Fitr (meaning the fasting festival). The whole city is thriving and full of life. It is recommended that one should visit Syria during any time of the year but especially during Eid Al Fitr festival.
