Beit Rumman

The Damascene house of Beit Rumman was renovated by its recent owners to look as it was centuries ago. The beautiful courtyard and lewan (courtyard sitting place in Arabic) have authentic arches that make this place very appealing to guests. The terrace of this house overlooks the enchanting ancient Old Damascus area and the scenic Mt. Qasiun view.

Most of the hotel room doors are original. The rooms in the hotel or ‘house' are very cozy and eye-catching. They are meticulously designed. The beds there are made from gorgeous mosaic, and the pillows are filled with ostrich feathers that ensures comfort at a highest calibre. Some rooms overlook the historic Bab Toma Street, the beautiful suite overlooks the Beit Al Rumman's romantic garden that adds a charm to a couple's honeymoon. Each of the twin and double rooms has a name that is synonymous to the gem stone color that theme is about, e.g. the ruby room's furniture and design is colored with red sparkling colors.
