Orient Palace Hotel

The Orient Palace hotel was opened in 1932. It played a very important historical role. It accommodated many high profile guests such as political leaders, artists, and authors. Many conferences and political, social, and cultural parties were held here for several decades. This hotel building also was involved with many administrational activities related to the Syrian Parliament, which was after the declaration of the Syrian Arab Republic as an independent state.
